This elementary school in a very poor, rural area of West Kalimantan has about 200 students in grades 1-5. It serves a handful of surrounding villages. Some of the kids must walk for an hour (usually barefoot or in flip flops) to get to school and back.

This is the elementary school that Lukman and Suci attended before they left their village to live at Mama Sayang Orphange and go to school at St. Enoch in West Java.
